A Lazy Labor Day

I hope your Labor Day has been wonderful… I spent mine lounging in this amazing swing from Cheeky Pea.  I found it while looking for the hunt prize in The Four Walls Hunt on Sunday.  It is full of wonderful animations for singles and couples and I simple adore the textures in the texture change menu… so many choices!

I’m wearing new mesh capri pants from FireBird Designs.  A texture-change hud is included in the folder and there are fourteen lovely colors to choose from.  My sneakers are from Vivienne Fashion and featured a colorful wildflower design.  I love this yummy tattoo from Para Designs that is called “Sugar Rush”. 🙂

If A Picture Paints A Thousand Words

FireBird Designs has released a set of four off-shoulder shirts each with a great work of art on the front. It was hard to choose one to wear, but Mona really caught my eye. 🙂

I paired the shirt with my favorite non-mesh jeans from LeeZu and added Slink’s oh-so-awesome mesh feet and Ilena Sandals. The feet come with a fantastic hud to match skin and lots of nail colors.  The Ilena Sandals are made to work with the feet and there are lots of colors to choose from.

 

 

I’m wearing League’s Isla skin with a new shape that I picked up at The Black Market called Monica from DJ Designs.  My hair is a former group gift from Truth named Bunny and my earrings are from The Mustang Trading Post.

 

I picked up this wonderful stump table set at HappyMood and I absolutely love it!  The paint brushes come with the set and are a perfect accent for my Mona Lisa Top.

Now, if I only knew how to paint… 😉

If I Could, I Would

Here’s another eye-catching outfit from Dalraida Delwood’s FireBird Designs brand!  The outfit comes complete with the mesh thigh-high boots you see here and they fit wonderfully!  I added jewelry from a new-to-me shop, Mustang Trading Post.  I came across it today as I took advantage of the Lazy Sunday discounts.  Items in the shop have a Texas flair and I’ll definitely be shopping there again!

My hair is a wonderful new style from Wasabi Pills called Skye and I’m wearing the Wild Honey shade from the brown pack.  You can find it at the all new edition of Zombie Popcorn Brand. 🙂

In The Mood For Black Damask

FireBird Design’s newest creation blows me away!  I absolutely love the damask texture on the skirt and the top is so sexy.  I’m wearing the solid version of the top, but there is a sheer version for the more adventurous! 😉

The bangles and belly ring are also from FireBird Design and really complete the outfit!  I have total L-O-V-E for this outfit and I may never take it off!

FireBird Designs Tie Die Maxi Dresses

“Oh wow!”  That is exactly what I said when I slipped into FireBird Designs new Tie Die Maxi Dress!

Then when I tried out the texture change HUD included with the dress, my joy was complete!  Essentially four dresses in one!  The HUD is so easy to use and the textures change so quickly!  I simply love it!

The combination of tie-dye and animal print is eye-catching and each colorway is fantastic.  The dress and alpha layer both fit perfectly.  I added Izzie’s Onyx Jewelry Set and it looks great with all four colors.

My hair is the lovely Sylvie from Wasabi Pills.  I’m wearing it in the Wild Honey shade from the browns pack.  Wasabi Pills is fast becoming one of my favorite mesh hair brands in SL!

My skin is the amazing Isla in Suntan from League and my eyes…. IKON, of course. 🙂

Flashback to the Eighties and Other Good Things

Some days it’s a struggle to put an outfit together and other days…. it just falls into place like magic!  Such is the case with today’s look.  The moment I put on this pink off-shoulder top from Firebird Designs it was L-O-V-E!  It is the pinkest of pinks…. my favorite color!  It is rigged mesh so you’ll need an updated viewer to see it properly.  It moves perfectly with my avatar….. even while flashdancing!

My necklace is a fun item from Izzie’s and my bracelet and earrings are from League.  I went looking for legwarmers in my inventory when I stumbled on these fabulous mesh Wellingtons from Gos that were a free gift from Culture Shock.  Bingo!  My hair is Bring It On! from Exile, a former group gift.  My skin is from Izzie’s.

Today’s photos were made inside an amazing photography build created by my bestest friend, GoodCross Resident.  Unfortunately it is not available for purchase at this time, but maybe if we twist his arm…, lol. 🙂

FireBird Designs Vintage Ruffle Dress

Today I’m showing you FireBird Designs Vintage Ruffle Dress.  The skirt is mesh, so you’ll need an updated viewer to see it properly.  I love the flirty ruffles on the skirt and it looks very realistic.  I’m so happy that the creator, Dalriada Delwood, has included five skirt sizes in the folder.  I had no trouble finding one to fit me perfectly!

I accessorized this dress with jewelry from Apple May Designs and Snatch.  The skin I’m wearing is Al Vulo’s Yulia Dream of Midnight and is available at the Grunge Soul Project for a wonderfully low price!  My hair is Georgina from Truth and is one of my favorite non-mesh styles.

I chose one of my favorite spots to photograph, Lost World for this photo.  There are so many twists and turns on this sim… it may take months to learn my way around! 🙂
