May Group Gift from Roots and Wings Gallery

Eliza Cabassoun is making her art wearable by applying her gorgeous photographs to mesh clothing.  The dress I’m wearing above is the May group gift available at her shop/gallery!  I love the vibrant colors in this dress and orchids are one of my favorite flowers… so this dress is an absolute joy to wear!

I’m also wearing shoes from Hucci, jewelry from Caroline’s Jewelry, and hair from Truth… one that I picked up at the Truth Hair Sale.  This photo was taken at HuMaNoiD, one of my most favorite places in Second Life and a place that everyone should visit.

If I Were Rich & Sassy

Last night I was in the mood for a hunt and decided to do the “If I Were Rich” hunt.  I took a quick look at the blog for hints and urls and off I went.  My first stop yielded this lovely shape from $10 Shapes… and I actually located the prize for another hunt while I was there. Yay!

My next stop was Sassy! and the prize was this gorgeous sky blue gown with lace inserts.  It is a mesh item and I was able to wear the small size with the new shape…. AND I found another hunt prize while searching for the “If I Were Rich” hunt item.  Double Yay!

I added D!va hair, the lovely Manon from Collabor88 that everyone is raving about, and Atomic’s Grace skin that is available at The Dressing Room.  I found the lovely necklace and earrings on Marketplace from C&C for only $10L each.  I do love a bargain, especially a well-made bargain. 🙂

I flew over to HuMaNoiD to photograph my outfit and found a great spot behind the “Dance to the Music” door.  HuMaNoiD never disappoints. 🙂

Purple Moon Loveliness

The start of every weekend always calls for a trip to Purple Moon Creations.  I love to pop in and see the deals that have been set out for shop patrons.  This weekend’s choices are fabulous!  The outfit I am wearing is called BoHo Look 1 and it is only $55L !  I love the rich colors and the textures are simply magnificent!  There is a second version of this in black and it is also $55L.  An incredible deal and many thanks to Poulet Koenkamp for being so wonderful to us!

I added a lovely set of earrings and necklace from Glow Studio that is available at The Dressing Room Blue for only $70L.  I’m wearing Jen in Deep Tan, the newest skin from League.  My hair is a gorgeous style from LeLutka called Jolie.  The photos were taken at HuMaNoiD, an amazingly photogenic sim that I encourage everyone to visit!

Flower Dancer

Sometimes a girl just has to put on a pretty blue goddess dress and twirl about in the flowers.  In fact, I highly recommend it because I was feeling pretty down and out before the dance but afterwards… I was floating on air. 🙂

Today’s look began with a pose.  I love to make poses and had an image in my mind that I wanted to create for a photo at HuMaNoiD (my newest favorite place to take photos, lol).  Once the pose was uploaded to SL, it was time to find the perfect outfit.  This pretty blue goddess costume from SeVered GarDeN has been languishing in my inventory for quite some time and I knew this was the perfect time to use it.  When I checked the Marketplace to see if it was still available, I found it was not only available but being offered at a discount!

Woohoo!  I challenge you to slip on a pretty dress and dance barefoot in the flowers… it’s the perfect cure for a bad day!
