Fibromyalgia affects between 3 and 6 million Americans and approximately 90% of those affected are female. It causes widespread muscle pain, fatigue, disrupted sleep, and a host of other unpleasant symptoms that wreak havoc on the lives of those it affects. It is a chronic condition and there is no known cure. I know it well…… it has been my constant companion for the past thirteen years.
