Sleeping Koala @FreeStyle

Just a quick blog today featuring two items from Sleeping Koala that are now available at Free*Style.  This is a new store with items from lots of designers.  It is not an event and is not going to change out weekly or monthly.  It will be a great place to pick up free and discounted items from some of your favorite designers.

The top in the photo above is called “Dip Hem Birdy T Shirt” and is available for free at Free*Style.  It’s a cute and casual look and you can’t beat the price. 🙂

The top in the second photo is called “Dip Hem Top Free*Style” and is one of three shirts in the folder!  I’m wearing the lavender shirt… gray and blue are included in the set.  The cost, $25L.  Nice shirt at a nice price!

Acid Lily Gallery Newness

Acid Lily Gallery is fast becoming one of my favorite designer showcase events.  Each week there is a new collection on display and nothing in the shop is over $70L!  Today I made a quick trip and came away with this lovely mesh romper from BeReckless.  I simply adore the sweet colors and the look is so comfortable!

I also picked up a new shape, Lily from Yingy.  There were three sizes in the folder to choose from… short, medium, and tall.  I chose the tall version because my normal shape is quite tall and I like the view from up there… 😉

I was pleased to find that Lily fit the small mesh size (the size I normally wear) and I liked the way she fit into League’s Jen in Sunkiss skin. 🙂

This romper has a “summer at the beach” feel about it, so I added LeLutka’s Trend Hair in Sweeden to carry on with the theme.  Next I pulled jewelry from Glow Studio from my inventory and a cute bracelet from Sleeping Koala that doesn’t seem to be available anymore.  Maitreya Gold flip flops complete the look.

Fun in the sun… oh yeah!

Sleeping Koala & Wasabi Pills at Vintage Fair

More retro yumminess from Vintage Fair 2012 courtesy of Sleeping Koala and Wasabi Pills!

First this wonderful retro swim suit from Sleeping Koala.  I’m wearing it in Pink and I love the vintage cut of this suit.  It draws attention to my curves and is so sexy in a subtle and sophisticated way.  It is available in five sweet colors:  pink, blue, green, purple, and red.

Next is this gorgeous vavavoom hairstyle from Wasabi Pills.  It is called Veronique and I’m wearing the chocolate shade from the browns pack.  It is mesh and includes a hairbase along with an alpha layer.  There are also two versions of each color in the pack, regular and “boobs”, so this style should fit any and every shape!

My eyes are one of IKON’s two group gifts for August, Horizon Eyes in Dark Turquoise.  You can see the other gift in the previous post.  Not only does IKON make gorgeous eyes, they are also very generous with group members.  I like that. 🙂

The poses that I’m using in the photos above are also from Sleeping Koala.  The set is called Vintage Sewing Pattern Poses and the poses are so reminiscent of the images from the sewing patterns my mother kept in her sewing room.  Sweet memories… 🙂

Sleeping Koala – My 60’s Block Mini Dress

Vintage Fair is set to open on August 4th, 2012 and I can’t wait!  Sleeping Koala will be there celebrating the fashion of the 60’s.  The dress I’m wearing is called My 60’s Block Mini Dress and looks fantastic!  I love the bold look and it fits perfectly.  It is available in five colors… blue, green, orange, pink, and red.  So many to choose from… I think I’ll take them all!

I added the Vinyl Vintage Boots in black from The Secret Store.  My hair is Trend from Lelutka and my skin is League’s Jen in Deep Tan. 

There’s only one thing left to say…. Yeah Baby!

Sleeping Koala

Today I went shopping at Sleeping Koala and found this lovely dress!  I’m wearing the all non-mesh version, but there is a partial mesh version in the folder for those who’d like to use it.  I absolutely love the color combination in the bodice of the dress and found it easy to accessorize with things already in my inventory. 🙂

I’m wearing a fun hairstyle from Truth called Cate that I’ve had for a while but never worn.  It looks so cute with the dress I think . 🙂  I added jewelry from je suis and Maylo Designs in lovely shades of turquoise.  The skin is the current group gift from WoW Skins and eyes are from the wonderful Horizon Eyes collection offered by IKON.

I found lovely landscaping around the Sleeping Koala shop offered the perfect backdrop for photographing the outfit.

Sleeping Koala & The Fresh Unknown Hunt

Last night I decided to do The Fresh Unknown Hunt.  My first stop was Sleeping Koala where the prize was this bold Strappy BodyCon Dress.  I love the bright colors!  

I paired it with my favorite pair of pumps, Mstyle’s Goshi Pumps in black.  At Persefona, I was delighted to find the hunt prize was a gorgeous pair of earrings named “Eve”.  They work so nicely with this dress. 

The skin I am wearing is Emelie in Sand from Medley and my hair is Exile’s Callisto in Nectar.  The furniture in the photos is from Lisp Bazaar’s $10L Garden.  The Fresh Unknown Hunt is a wonderful way to discover new and upcoming creators.  Visit the blog for more information. 🙂
